The initiative is the second of five appointments in Percorsi nel Novecento (Paths through the Twentieth Century), a program conceived by the Directorate of the Lecco Urban Museum System and entrusted for its design and implementation to ViDi Cultural. The exhibition, curated by Simona Bartolena, produced and produced by ViDi cultural, in collaboration with the Municipality of Lecco and the Sistema Museale Urbano Lecchese, travel partner Trenord, focuses on the Futurist experience, in its many expressions, through the works of its most celebrated representatives, from Giacomo Balla to Luigi Russolo, Gino Severini to Enrico Prampolini, Filippo Tommaso Marinetti to Antonio Sant'Elia, Fortunato Depero to Tullio Crali, and many others.

It recounts the various forms of one of Europe's most important avant-garde movements, born and developed in Italy, and its relations with the European scene and Italian society of the time.
